DNHS joins 4th Quarter NSED
To increase preparedness for a possible catastrophic event, Dulag National High School (DNHS) participated in the 4th Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), November 9, 2023.
Initiated by the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (SDRRMC) spearheaded by Angelica Q. Permejo, and with the assistance of Dulag Emergency Response and Rescue Unit (DERRU) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), DNHS community executed safety procedures to be done during an actual earthquake. Activities included the duck, cover, and hold procedure before going to their designated evacuation area, reenactment of events that may occur in time of earthquake.
“This drill helps us to practice once this incident occurs, we will know what will be our reflex and through this we cannot only save ourselves but also save the lives of others.” FO1 Cristina Khay Daya said.

Ang Bantayog
Asis, Calupaz, nakasungkit unang puwesto sa DSPC

Dedikasyon. Pagpupursige. Pangarap.
Ito ang ilan sa mga katangiang ipinamalas nina Frances Alexis Asis at Ronalyn Calupaz upang makamit ang unang gantimpala sa ginanap na Division Schools Press Conference DSPC sa Abuyog, Leyte, Marso 23.
Sa 49 mga kalahok mula sa iba’t ibang paaralan ng dibisyon ng Leyte nanguna si Asis sa larangan ng pagsulat ng Balitang Isports kategor yang Ingles at si Calupaz naman ay sa pagsulat ng Lathalain kategoryang Filipio.
Ginawaran din ng titulong Most Outstanding Journalist si Asis patunay ng mga pagpapakitang gilas niya sa larangan ng pamamahayag.
Pangalawang beses nang nakatapak sa Regional Schools Press Conference RSPC si Francis at naging National Press Conference NSPC qualifier.
Samantala, ang pagnanais ni Ronalyn na makata pak sa mataas na lebel ng paligsahan ang siyang nagudyok para maabot ang unang gantimpala.
Ilan din sa mga kara ngalang natanggap ni Calupaz ay ang pagkapanalo ng unang puwesto Regional Level at ikatlong puwesto National Level sa 89th National Book Week Competition “I Read, I Spoke, I Conquered”, Spoken Word Competition.
Muling sasabak ang dalawang mamamahayag sa RSPC na gaganapin ngayong May 1-4 sa Calbayog, City Samar.
